Davin A. Mackenzie
Davin is a founding principal and Managing Director of Telopea.
Davin was previously the Managing Director and Beijing Representative of Arctic Capital Limited, an Asian private equity fund. Previously he was with Peak Capital, a boutique private equity firm focused on China. Prior to his joining Peak Capital, Davin served for seven years with the International Finance Corporation, the private sector arm of the World Bank, including four years as the Country Manager for China and Mongolia. Davin also served as a senior associate at Mercer Management Consultants in Washington D. C, and as a manager in the Taipei branch of the First National Bank of Boston in Taiwan.
Davin is a graduate of Dartmouth College with a B.A in Government. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with an M. A. in International Studies and an M.B.A from The Wharton School. Davin has also completed the World Bank Executive Development Program at Harvard Business School in Boston, Massachusetts.
Davin is an independent Director of AsiaInfo Ltd. and The9 Ltd. He has lived in China for almost 20 years and is a fluent Mandarin speaker.
